Once we assign a Project Manager to your project or program, he will be responsible for leading and managing the team, preparing time and work estimates for the project, risk management strategic planning, overseeing system analysis, high and low-level designs, Quality Assurance plans, forecasting, project scheduling and planning, etc. He will be reporting on the daily scrum meetings and status of defects and plans of action for their closure. The PM will keep the project on track and escalate issues to the client as and when needed. He will also set milestones for productivity improvement initiatives and their implementation.
The PM often handles teams in a global delivery model wherein teams are located both onsite and offshore at multiple geographies. We have Project Managers who have long specialized expertise in domains such as:
